System, Storage, and Database Administrators

SMSi is looking for several System Administrators with Unix and/or Windows administration, SAN/NAS administration, and/or database administration experience to support a range of projects with our customers. We have requirements for engineers experienced with installation, operations, security, and maintenance of complex computer systems. Experience working for or supporting DOD or the Intelligence Community is highly desirable.

Requirements Description:

Candidates should have experience with some or all of the following:

  • Operating Systems and Security: Windows Server, Linux (Red Hat preferred), Unix (Solaris,IRIX, or AIX)
  • Storage Systems: Network Appliance, Yotta Yotta, EMC, StorNext
  • Access Controls: Active Directory, LDAP, NIS
  • Relational databases: Oracle, MySQL, MS SQL Server, Derby

Qualifications:

Generally requires a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Computer Science and a minimum of 2 years professional work experience. Associate Degrees in Engineering Technology or Computer Science and/or additional work experience can replace the Bachelor’s degree. Certifications from authorized providers preferred (e.g. MSCE, SNCP, Oracle, CISSP). We have a number of openings requiring different levels of experience.
